🔥 Hickory
Strong, smoky, slightly sweet with a bacon-like edge. The classic BBQ wood.
Best with: Pork, ribs, brisket, bacon.
🍒 Cherry
Mild, fruity, and slightly sweet with a beautiful reddish tint on meat.
Best with: Poultry, pork, salmon — great mixed with hickory or oak for color and balance.
🥧 Pecan
Nutty and rich, milder than hickory but with similar warmth.
Best with: Brisket, pork shoulder, turkey — a favorite for low-and-slow smoking.
🌶️ Mesquite
Bold, earthy, and intense — the strongest flavor of the bunch. Burns hot and fast.
Best with: Beef, especially steaks and fajitas. Use sparingly — a little goes a long way.
🌳 Post Oak
Smooth, medium smoke flavor, very versatile and a Texas BBQ staple.
Best with: Almost anything — a great "all-purpose" wood if you can't decide.
Tip: Not sure where to start? Pecan and post oak are the most forgiving for beginners. Mesquite is for those who like big, bold flavor.
PALLET SIZE: 1/5 cord, 30"x32"x59", approx. 220 pieces, "truckload" amount of wood.
*Please note, we deliver using a large box truck and pallet jack. We cannot maneuver over grass, gravel or up steps, but have other options to make your delivery feasible if this is you!
